Projects
At any given time I have a lot of projects going, but here are some of interest.

Web projects:
This is my personal blog where I post occasionally on just about anything. Life, photography, fire activities, etc. The domain, Olorinpc.com, has been in existence since 2001 and has undergone many revisions in the past decade.
Epic Plains is a blog I have dedicated to everything literary, but primarily writing and novel reviews. So the frequency of updates is a little dependent on how much free time I have.
Hosehead Life is a blog I have that is specifically about living with Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
Jakob Barnard (Online Resume)
This website serves as an online resume. It also serves to make sure my sites pop up first for any searches on my name. Since I go by both Jake Barnard and Jakob Barnard online, I own both domains and they both point to this site.

Website design
All of the sites I have listed I work on and have designed myself. I do occasionally create and design sites for others. These contracts are accepted on a case by case basis.
Writing Projects:
National Novel Writing Month is a blast. It really helped kick off one of the novels I am working on and really helped show me how much I loved the writing process. The link goes to my user profile on the site.
Kingdom of Dragmar (KoD)
KoD is a fantasy adventure novel I am working on revising. Currently it is in a major rewrite, though I hope to have it completed by mid 2010.
Fire in Space
FiS is the working title of a science fiction story I am working on. I have yet to decide if I am going to keep it a short story, serial novel, or a full fledged novel. It has been completed and submitted to the annual Writer’s Digest Competition.
Freelance work
I do accept freelance article writing, write the occasional editorial, and of course blog posts. I sometimes work through the various freelance writing websites, but also accept direct requests. If interested, please inquire via my contact page or my elance profile.
Hobbies:
This hobby has kind of been on hold, but I have a train table set up in my basement. As a kid my Dad and I worked together to build a Märklin Train set. I now have all of the old tracks and trains and am slowly building my own setup. The linked website is what I post to when I complete some project associated with this.
